SCOPE OF WORK
As both IISc, NETPRO and DASAG are interested in applying new technologies in a sustainable manner for accelerating the development of the rural and poorer segments of the third World, shall immediately take up the commercialization of Bio Mass Decentralized Energy Plants. Hence IISc shall make available to NETPRO, DASAG, all data information, know how and know why related to technical, engineering, design, operational, environmental and cost aspects technologies and systems which are to be jointly taken up for commercialization. IISc shall also provide NETPRO and DASAG scientific and engineering support required for designing, building and operating plants.

ACHIEVEMENTS
IISc provided a team of Engineers, Technocrats and other administrative staff required for overall project management and implementation. Institute developed drawings, designs and basic engineering details. It also procured materials and conducted tests and analysis, exercised quality control to fabricate and supply a fully working prototype 2.75 Mw Thermal Gasifier. Combuster that can run on sugar cane trash, saw dust Rice husk and other pulverised bio mass waste.
